How to change the background colour of the active pane?
Just on the main menu> "Extras" then "... more options."
In Options-Dialog select the tab Colors !
Now you can customize the Color-Filter for file extensions and background color.
Placeholder for background color is: #BG =background color #BG-A =background color for active pane (view, window)
Other placeholder: # = Hidden Files,Folders #DIR= Folder #RO = Read only
Other options Bold/Italic/Strikeout and Color: (-1) = next filter can change (set) this value. (0) = not set (next filter can't change this value). (1) = set (next filter can't change this value).
Q-Dir is suitable for Microsoft Windwos : Servers 2000 / 2003 / 2005 / 2008 Win 98 / XP / Vista and Windows Seven x64 and x86
I only ever use Details view--but I like the colour scheme ( in Windows) of
"Fiesta" and that fills most of the top part of each window--hardly use
the tree view--prefer a "drive list". Perhaps I really need to change the
background colour of the active pane? That way I wouldn't miss whjich
pane is the active one--or alternatively, change the colour of the
background of the NON-active windows?? Whichever is easiest. - see
attached screenshot which may explain my problem in spotting the active
pane..
