What I have to use Portable or X64, or ... of FontView OK?

Help in choosing whether to use the font preview as a portable or non-portable application or to use X64!

Between x64 and x32 there are no known differences ergo functional advantages. But if possible use the x64 under Window x64! With portable and not portable there is also no functional disadvantage only the program settings are stored elsewhere.

1.) ... Portable and not portable?
2.) ... Open the folder and settings of FontViewOK!

1.) Portable and not portable?

The non-portable version writes by  default is the program settings

"C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\FontViewOK\FontViewOK.ini"

or  %appdata%\FontViewOK\FontViewOK.ini

The portable version stores the settings in the same directory (working directory)

D:\FontViewOK\FontViewOK.ini

Please do not save in protected folder under Windows 10.

If in the FontViewOK.ini can not be written,

the program will create an INI file in:  %appdata%\FontViewOK\FontViewOK.ini
to save the settings for FontViewOK.

Info: Please  start  (Windows + R) and  then the command   %appdata% to find this folder!

2.) Open the folder and the settings of FontViewOK!

As of FontViewOK 5.01, you can open the folders and the INI file directly from the program.

The Fonts Comparison program does not care if it's a native Windows desktop computer, or whether you are looking at fonts commercially on the tablet PC, or even tweeting or Facebooking in Mac coffee on the MS-Surface Pro / Go then want to compare fonts quickly at mobile work, as well as admin from the Federal Intelligence Service on a server operating system that is in the basement.
